Once your bug tracking system is installed and operational, we recommend you to create a "Database Maintenance Plan".
This feature of Microsoft SQL Server performs two major tasks. First, it backs-up your database(s), and second, it optimizes tables and indexes resulting in improved performance of your database.
To create your "Database Maintenance Plan" run the SQL Server "Enterprise Manager" application and navigate to "Database Maintenance Plans" option then select "New Maintenance Plan" either from menu "Action" or by right-clicking on that option.

"Database Maintenance Plan Wizard" will start. Click "Next" and complete all parameters as shown in these examples or modify according to your requirements.
